Workshop Description

Design Thinking for Social Business is a hands-on workshop that will introduce participants to new methodologies in creative processes, brainstorming and prototyping to tackle social tensions.Design thinking and User-Driven Innovation are not just tools for designers, but can be used by leaders, teachers, students  and entrepreneurs.

During the workshop the participants will learn problem-finding and reframing techniques that enable innovation and will help you to understand the power of prototyping and to ask new questions. The methodologies learned will show how design thinking for social business can focus on innovative solutions to meet social needs, increase self-help of individuals, to provide social services, and alike.

The concept of social business and design thinking will be discussed in relation to the current and future social context in the region at large. At the same time, global extensions of the issues will not be missed. International examples of successful projects will be presented and discussed as part of the class.
