Workshop Description

What's a Hold-Up? It is a highly interactive creativity workshop gathering supercool individuals like YOU to solve a challenge of a social business entrepreneur. In a two-hour session, we will use innovation and design-thinking methods to generate concrete solutions!

Hold-Ups have happened more than a thousand times in over 100 cities around the world. The GSBS and MakeSense held a pitch competition for social businesses to win an invitation to the summit and add their challenge to this workshop. Together, we’ll find solutions that help the winner!

MakeSense is a rapidly growing, global open-source community of passionate individuals who use their skills, knowledge and connections to tackle business, design and technology challenges of social entrepreneurs. It's engagement in the digital age!

We thank all those who supported us throughout the process; all those who participated in the event; and all those who helped to spread the YY Spirit of the Social Business Movement in the days leading up to - and during - the event.
